5 Must Visit Places In Seattle
This is my first post on this blog. I stopped blogging for a year and half and now I am back in action again. I travelled to Seattle from Singapore with my husband (Ravi) and daughter (Arya). I was bit excited but, more worried because it was Arya’s first long flight and I didn’t had a single idea how she was going to react. We had flight from Singapore to Seattle via Taipei. She played with puzzle and watched videos during Singapore to Taipei flight and you would not imagine what happened during Taipei to Seattle flight. She slept till landing. It was a great relief and I was very happy. Here we come, Seattle! I looked up on the Internet to make a list of must visit places in Seattle, below are some places which I highly recommend:
1. Space Needle:
Space Needle is icon of the city. It is highest tower in Seattle, from where you can enjoy the breath taking view of the city. The city looks beautiful from the top of the tower. The ticket is 48 dollars you can buy tickets of space needle and Chihuly glass gardens combined to save few bucks.
“I felt my lungs inflate with the onrush of scenery—air, mountains, trees, people. I thought, ‘This is what it is to be happy.'”
-Sylvia Plath, The Bell Jar
2. Chihuly Garden and Glass:
Chihuly glass garden is right near space needle. It has three parts: glass museum, glass garden and small souvenir shop.
3. Museum of Living Computer:
Museum of living computers have different generation computers, robots, mainframes, old hard drives, floppies, etc. If you are techie you would definitely love this place.
